Can you use gauges that say r-134a with r-22?
I bought a manifold gauge set at harbor freight that says it's for R-134a, but inside all the hoses have all three types on it.
So can use these with R-22 without having any problems?
It's for A/C units.
HVAC Tech. : You Can use the gauges as long as you are not switching back and fourth on the refrigerants. The EPA requires dedicated gauges. Do you have temp./pressure conversion charts? If so, you won't have any problems, just remember you need to be certified or you will be in violation of the law. Five years in jail and a $10,000 fine. Good luck!
