Why does Kevin Harvick sometimes have a Shell car and sometimes a Recess car?
I'm a really new NASCAR fan (just started watching this season) and I've decided to follow Kevin Harvick. He's always had a Shell car everytime I see him. ( My wife works for Shell) Well today in Atlanta he's driving a car with Recess on it. Can someone explain to me. Thanks and God bless.
every driver has a couple different 'paint schemes.' In case you didn't know, a paint scheme is when the car has a different paint job. Most cars have one big sponsor and multiple smaller sponsors that occasionally cover the hood on some races in a season. Shell and Pennzoil are the 2 big sponsors for Harvick, while Reeses' is a smaller one. You will see him drive that car a couple more times this year, but most of the time he'll be in the yellow and red Shell/Pennzoil chevy.
